The part of speech describes an action or occurrence or indicates a state of being. A verb is one of the main parts of a sentence or question in English. In fact, you can’t have a sentence or a question without a verb! That’s how important these “action” parts of speech are.
Type Of Verb
1.      Lexical Verb
Lexical verbs are basically the main verb in a sentence.Definition In English grammar, a lexical verb is any verb that is not an auxiliary verb (or helping verb). Also called a main verb or a full verb.
Example :  It rained all night.

2.      Dynamic

In English grammar a "dynamic verb" means that the verb describes an action rather than a state. Dynamic verbs are sometimes known as "action verbs."
Example :  ” Joe is chasing the bus.”
"I can't talk right now, I'm eating dinner."
"I think it is wrong to hit children."

3.      Stative
Stative is an adjective which describes something as having a state, or existing (this is a very uncommon adjective).
Example:” Kevin wants some ice-cream.”
"I'm having a bad day today. I'll call you when things are better."

4.      Regular and Irregular Verbs
Regular verbs is any verb whose conjugation follows the typical pattern, or one of the typical pattern of the language to which it belongs.
Example :    Present Tense       Past Tense
                           Call                  Called
                           Love                Loved
Irregular verbs is any verb whose conjugation follows a different pattern.
Example :   Present Tense        Past Tense
            Show                    Shown
            Throw                   Threw
5.      Transitive and Intransitive Verbs
Transitive Verbs are action verbs that have an object to receive that action.
Example:My Mom made me birthday cake.
“I throw my rubbish in the floor.
Intransitive Verbs are action verbs but unlike transitive verbs.
Example:  They fall from the tree.
                  “Please sit there!
6.      A Linking Verb
A linking verb connects the subject with a word that gives information about the subject, such as a condition or relationship. They are called ‘’linking’’ verb because they link the subject of the sentences to a word or phrase in the predicate that renames or describes the subject (tell us more about the subject’s ‘’state of being’’
Example :” William is excited about his promotion”.
“She appears upset about the announcement.

      “The eggs smell rotten.
