OCTOPUS

   The Octopus is a sea animal with eight powerful feet which it uses ashands.These are called tentacles. The word”Octopus”comes from two greet words that mean”eight feel”

   The Octopus,the squid and the cuttlefish belong to the same family that has no outside shells.Their bodies are covored enterely with skin.Therefore the body an Octopus is soft.It looks like a big balloon. A fully-grown octopus can be as large as 8,5 metres from the tip of another.It can weigh as much as 45 kilograms.

    Beside using its tentacles to catch small fish,sea plants,crab and lobster,the octopus also uses them against its enemies. The octopus wrap its tentacles around the victim and squeezes it before eating it.

The octopus escapes from its enemies by giving out a thick dark fluid to darken the water. It can also change the colour of its body to match it surroundings. It hides from its enemies by doing this.

Gurita tersebut  adalah hewan laut dengan delapan kaki yang kuat yang menggunakan kaki yang sama bentuknya .ini  yang disebut tentakel. Kata "Octopus" berasal dari dua menyambut kata-kata yang berarti "delapan nuansa"

Guria tersebut, cumi-cumi dan sotong masih memiliki hubungan keluarga yang sama yang tidak memiliki kulit tubuh .tubuh mereka tertutupi sepenuhnya dengan kulit .Oleh karena itu, tubuh gurita adalah lunak.It tampak seperti balon besar. Sebuah gurita dewasa dapat mencapai besar sebagai 8,5 meter dari ujung gurita lain dapat mencapai berat sebanyak 45 kilogram.

Selain menggunakan tentakel untuk menangkap ikan kecil, tanaman laut, kepiting dan lobster, gurita juga menggunakan mereka menyerang terhadap musuh-musuhnya. gurita membungkus tentakel di sekitar korban dan menekanya sebelum makan itu.

gurita lolos dari musuh-musuhnya dengan memberikan cairan hitam tebal untuk menggelapkan air. Hal ini juga dapat mengubah warna tubuhnya untuk mencocokkan keadaan sekitarnya. Agar dapat menyembunyikan dari musuh dengan hal ini.
