Definition,
Function, Types and Examples Noun
Noun is one of one of the parts of speech in English. Parts of
speech are the kinds of words in the English language. Noun is a word used to
name an object such as people, objects, places, and concepts / ideas. Noun can
be shaped singural (single) or plural (plural).
Function
of Noun :
1.
as a subject in a sentence.
Example:

2. as a complementary object in a sentence.
Example:
Mr. John is a doctor.
She was a chef.

3. The direct object (direct object)

Types
of Noun
Noun consists of several types, here are the types of noun:
1. countable and uncountable Noun

countable noun is a type that can be calculated and has a number. example:
• Mango -> Mangoes (Mangga-> some mango)
• Apple -> Apples (Apel-> some apples)
• Man -> Men (Men -> some men)
Noun consists of several types, here are the types of noun:

If using the media, then the uncountable noun can be calculated. example:

of countable and uncountable Noun
• countable noun is a collection of objects that can be calculated and uncountable noun is a collection of objects that can not be calculated.
• countable noun need not make use of the media to be counted while the uncountable noun must use media
• every noun is countable noun form could amount to a single (singular) or plural (plural) while not uncountable noun.
• If a single (singular) in a countable noun is not in adding the suffix 's' or 'es' if plural (plural) then add the suffix 's' or 'es' whereas in uncountable noun nothing additional.

• Abstract noun is a noun that can not be observed with the senses while the concrete noun is a noun that can be observed with the five senses.
• Abstract noun usually only be felt or thought can not be in touch, while the concrete noun can be touched or seen.
